First Things First: A Few Things NOT to Worry About
Your Ceremony
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you a Ceremony Booking Form to complete. From there, we’ll liaise with the Kent County Council team to get your civil ceremony booked. This may take a little time — so don’t stress, we’re on it!
Catering & Tastings
We work with a handpicked list of trusted local caterers. Once you’re booked in, we’ll help you connect with your caterer, confirm availability, pay your deposit, plus an option for a delicious tasting*. *subject to selected caterer.
Music & Entertainment
Opted for our inclusive DJ package? We’ll handle those initial bookings too! Your chosen entertainer will then get in touch to finalise the details and plan a soundtrack that fits your vibe.

Get Those Save-the-Dates Out
Our advice? It’s never too early! Whether your guests are local or travelling in, the more time they have to prepare, the better. Especially for midweek or destination-style weddings, a heads-up is hugely appreciated.
We recommend sending out save-the-dates as soon as your date at Edenwood Place is locked in.
Book Your Key Suppliers Early
Great wedding suppliers get snapped up fast — especially photographers, videographers, stylists, and florists. Don’t wait too long!
We’ve curated a recommended supplier list filled with professionals we trust, who know our venue well, and consistently deliver incredible results. Check out their social media, read reviews, and get in touch early.

Time to Dream: Styling, Colours & Décor
This is your creative playground. No need to decide everything now — but it’s a great time to get inspired. Start with:

- Mood boards or a styling vision
Want to go full DIY? Amazing! But remember, DIY takes time — so get a head start. Prefer to hand it over? Our trusted florists and stylists love working with couples who have a clear vision. Share your WOWs with them and let them work their magic.

Send Out Your Wedding Invitations
You’ll need your final RSVP numbers to us at least six weeks before your wedding day. So give yourself plenty of buffer time.
We recommend:
- Send official invites 4–6 months in advance.
- Set your RSVP deadline at least 8 weeks before your big day.
- Remember to collect dietary requirements too.
Not sure what time to put on your invites? We usually recommend asking guests to arrive one hour before the ceremony. This gives time for mingling, traffic delays, and of course, a relaxed start to the day.
